Getting Control of My Life (PDF 1.5 MB) is a book for people with learning difficulties that was written at the same time and goes together with 'Deciding Together'. This is a scanned copy, so not great quality, but you can order it from The Foundation for People with learning Disabilities at www.learning disabilities.org.uk. It costs £4.50.

Speaking Up! run a Service User Parliament. The Service User Parliament is a way for people with learning difficulties to have a voice in the way services are planned and run.
30 elected 'MPs' represent 1500 people with learning difficulties right across Cambridgeshire.

Decision Making This is a paper for people whose job it is to make Learning Disability Partnership Boards run and to make sure that the things it agrees happen. It was written by the Institute forApplied Health and Social Policy (now the Foundation for People with learning disabilities) for the Valuing People Support Team.
This is the Implementation Guidance for Valuing People that came out in August 2001. It said who should be on each Partnership Board.
