Question Mark
Level 1 - Working In Partnership How well is the Partnership doing and how can it be helped? We should ask these questions to see how a Partnership Board is doing.
  • Is it clear what they are trying to do?
  • Do they know the steps needed to do these things?
  • Has the Board kept the things that work, made other things better and spent the money needed to do this?
  • Have people with a learning disability had a say about what has changed?
By asking these sorts of questions we can check how well Boards are really meeting the needs of local people.

A partnership needs to have: Leadership We need people who can make big decisions and make things happen. We also need those who can work with people with learning disabilities and family carers. Trust Organisations and people need to listen to each other and understand what is being said. Learning We need to have the skills and knowledge and to learn together. Making a difference We need to be able to tell how well the Board is doing and whether it makes a difference to people's lives.
